How It Works

Every year the Waggon & Horses holds a football competion where players pay £1 per week and have to predict the correct scores of 4 matches taking place over the coming weekend (Friday to Monday).

The season starts with the first matches of the Championship and finishes with the last.

The matches are usually local: Villa, Wolves, WBA & Birmingham although can be changed due to internationals, FA Cup fixtures etc.

3 points are given for each correct score e.g 2:1, 1:1. If the score is incorrect then 1 point is given for a correct result e.g Home win, Draw, Away win.

If any player gets all 4 scores correct in a given week, then they win the total amount in the cash pot at that time. The cash pot will start again at zero and the league continues to the end of the season.

At the end of the season, the top 4 places will win a cash prize.

1st Place - 50%
2nd Place - 25%
3rd Place - 12.5%
4th Place - 12.5%

All predictions must be made before 7pm on Friday, and match tickets can be obtained from the bar.
